It's for a good cause. Let me know if you'd like to get one. I think the Society is selling them for $1.00. I think you have to get them at your local chapter.
To find your local chapter, click on this link...

This is what the band looks like...it's all red, with the word HOPE on it and the Society's website address.

Actually, thanks for posting as I have a couple of friends who suffer from MS, and it'd be a nice gesture on my part.

Thanks Chris.
I'll let my friends and family know about this too.

It's a good idea.... Although I was hoping this was a thread about an ACTUAL National MS Society Band of Hope, or maybe a documentary on the aforementioned...

This is one of those "survivor" lose your enthusiasm moments, ain't it?

Chris, I probably won't pick one up but I will send a couple bucks along with my mix I'm sending you. It's completed. I just have to finish the cover art.

Take the money and pick a couple up at your chapter and give them out.

That's quite generous of you, Ben. But I won't give them out, I will send them to you so you could give them out to friends or family. Even a fellow Obnerite perhaps? ;)

It would be better if it said: HOPESTRONG!

I actually am kind of annoyed that every cause is selling these things, but I'll look into donating a dollar and passing on the pink bracelet.

This is a great cause, especially considering that one 1st tier poster works for the MS, and two other 1TBs actually HAVE MS.

That being said, I agree with Haq that perhaps a variation on the repeated bracelet theme should be explored by other charities/causes in the future.

I'd like to patent the "Cockring of Caring" and license it to the first non-profit innovative enough to give it a shot.

Let's try and set up some sort of negotiations meeting.
