I don't know about Velvet Hammer, but Nature Film has some choice cuts. TRIVIA: Scrawl's lead singer is a guest vocalist on Listmania favorite Gentleman by fellow Cincinnati outfit Afghan Whigs. Velvet Hammer is also Atlantic's nu-metal imprint (not sure who is signed to them besides Taproot), but that has nothing to do with this.

I have the song "11:59 - It's January" on the now legendary working holiday compilation. Basically 24 bands did 12 7"....one for each holiday in the month (yeah, August was tough....but they did some summer stuff).
