My five new ideas

1. Cut use of exclamation marks by 87% by April 2005.
2. Also stop writing hyperbolic shite about our friends bands while high on cocaine in a toilet in Camden.
3. Move entire operation to Glasgow.
4. Never, ever, ever mention Paul Weller in magazine again
5. Bring back that speccy guy that used to do the crossword.

I don't hate him. I just think he's a historical figure in terms of making great or even good music.

He hasn't done anything worthy of his own name in 10 years. Rather than spite, it's in sympathy that the NME (with me at the helm) will no longer cover his old, tired descent into mediocrity.

Actually I'm trying to preserve his reputation. Paul Weller is one of these people that should have retired on the 1st Jan 2000.
