March 14, 2005 Press release from the Cocteau Twins:

It is with regret that Cocteau Twins announce they will not be performing at the Coachella Valley Music Festival on April 30th as had been planned. Due to personal reasons, member Elizabeth Fraser has decided that she is unable to participate in the reunion, and apologies for any inconvenience that this has caused.

They need to bring in a reunited Curve, My Bloody Valentine, or Portishead to make up for this crap.

Portishead will be well worth it damn it. I was surprised they didn't book them with all the hype about the new album that's due later this year. I mean, COME ON! ALL I WANT TO SEE IS PORTISHEAD LIVE! Is that too much for a gal to ask?!

And that really sucks about Cocteau Twins. I was looking forward to seeing them. BOO!
