since i came back from maryland on sun., my computer has been a complete pain in the ass and sounds like an old lawn mower. I've taken it apart three times and the little bastard still sounds like it's about to explode every time i turn it on.
the good news:
-you're not going to have to put up with my drunken, typo-riddled posts about crap movies, awkward social encounters and pussy Dems that can't drive for at least a few weeks.
-i will be getting a newer, better computer that has working drives, so's I can actually take part in the mixes and burn chase 20 episodes of Home movies that he doesn't want.

the bad news
-i still have access to a computer at least a couple hours a week
-by the time i come back i'll be allowed to smoke pot again, making for even more crappy, unrelated posting.
-in the meantime i'm gonna have to get new music info from whatever crappy magazines i can find at work.

so yeah, that's what's up

Mac people aren't particularly funny, but it is a way simple machine and you could get one pretty cheap.

i think the girl's gonna swing some massive pc discount through her work. 'sides, it's been my experience that Macs are usually more expensive. Though I still have a monitor and printer that run smoothly

that would be the only way that i'd get one, if you had the peripherals and wanted to go the mini route. i thought that she worked on a mac all day? just the simplicity of that transition might make the decision easier. however, there's a the matter of the pirated software to consider, and adobe photoshop.

well the photoshop would come free with the PC, too, since it would be purchased under the guise of being for a museum. And you know the pirated media is like half the reson i want a new computer...

speaking of which, if you ever send me a movie as depressing as Million Dollar Baby again i am going to power drill my eyes out, then ballpeen hammer the rest of my head. i had to watch 17 consecutive episodes of Aqua Teen just to forget about that ending. and also, Spaced is totally much better than i'd hoped so far.

If someone gave me a PC i'd probably just give it to Goodwill.
