Gaslight Anthem: Live At Park Avenue

10" vinyl release for record Store Day. By the time I got to a store, they were gone, but I happened across it online. A good performance that finds the band is a pretty laid back mood throughout. Worth a listen.

I had forgotten how much I hate the version of 'A Man Needs a Maid' on this album. So much so, I can count the number of times on both hands I've listened to this record.

Crocodiles: Summer of Hate

Lo-fi fuzzy noise. Big Jesus & Mary Chain influence. For me it hits a sweet spot where it's noisy enough to be interesting but it keeps the songs together enough to still be an enjoyable and accessible listen.

Brief blip on release, then nothing. I'm kinda liking this, though it's all over the place and spotty, admittedly. I guess the lyrics make it kinda shine through. "From the Hips" is pretty great.
