I have Wii Play, Wii Sports, Mario Kart, and SSX, but would like to get a few more for Christmas. So far, I'll be checking out Okami, RE4, Mario Galaxy, and Boom Blox. What else should I add to the list?

The basketball and football games are pretty fun. I'd also say Call of Duty, but maybe you don't like bloody war games.

I've got nothing against bloody war games. I just really sucked at Call Of Duty on PS2.

I was interested in trying a first person shooter on the Wii, but I've read some mixed reviews on the format.

What is this Wii Music thing that I saw advertised last night?
Any good?

i found boom blox to be entertaining for about two days, then mindblowingly tedious afterwards.

Download World of Goo.

Also get Zelda and probably Wario Ware. Metroid is pretty good, too, but I admittedly still haven't played it much.

Guitar Hero III and World Tour are pretty safe bets. And I've heard good things about Wii Fit and the balance board.

I have No More Heroes and it's entertaining for a while but it does get a little tedious.

I don't think I'd get a 1-st person shooter for the Wii. I'd think the controllers would be awkward, and it isn't a HD signal, so things like sniping would be more difficult.

I recommend Major League Baseball 2k8 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 - both of these games work great on the Wii controllers. - Basically, if you enjoy the golf and baseball games on Wii Sports, but want more detail and realism, get these.

Has anyone played Excitebots? I think it's a way more arcade style racer than Mario Kart Wii. You race robot animal cars around tracks filled with crazy shit and it's incredibly fast. It also has a great online multiplayer option.

I also downloaded World of Goo and played the first couple puzzles so far. I'm really liking it so far.
