I like Opera, and I recently moved from Chrome back to it. I use Firefox for a few things. This new unite thing seems pretty interesting.

I've been dicking around with it, and it allows you to share files through your browser. It's not actually working perfectly at the moment, but theoretically, as long as this machine is on and the browser is open, I can access or share pretty much whatever I want without any FTP or VPN or other hoops to jump through.

If I had found some rare Collective Soul bootlegs, I could email timmyjoe a link, and he could grab them, along with any amateur bestiality porn I forgot to hide. No YSI, no rapidshare, no box.net.

So far the only services are file sharing, photo sharing, media player, a fridge for storing notes and a web server app, but developers are being encouraged to add to the shit.

Any thoughts?
