[quote] The 12-song album, which will be the band's seventh full studio effort, was recorded in band leader Mark 'E' Everett's studio in Los Angeles.

It will be the group's first new studio album release since 2005's double LP 'Blinking Lights And Other Revelations'.

Wouldn't the translation be "Wolfman" with the Spanish adjective following the noun (even, in this case, the descriptor being a noun itself)? Anyway, I've never even heard a full Eels album, but the lyrics of the songs I've heard have always sorta intrigued me.

there are a bunch of good songs on this.

prizefighter, lilac breeze, in my dreams, all the beautiful things, and a few others are all aces. but it's so "normal" compared to some past work that it's hard to accept at first. it's a solid listen but kinda plain, if that makes sense

Hell, no. I think songs like "Tremendous Dynamite" and "Fresh Blood" are great fun and "That Look You Give That Guy" may be about the best song he's ever done. It's a whole album of songs from the viewpoint of "sociopath trying to get the girl" and it works well.

oops, nevermind my itunes was our of order. yeah those songs are great too. i still stand by my claim that the songwriting is great but the presentation is...i dunno...understated?
