admit it.
you watched it.
and it was soooooo good.

I love that I came from 2 hours of this intensely moving meditation session and talk and landed on a couch with a bowl of cereal and this.
I can't tell you which was better.

I thought it was a little anti-climactic. Personally, I think for pure life fail pieces of shit, you can't beat Orange County, and for pure social climbing pretentiousness, you can't beat NYC. Atlanta sucked, and this was basically a re-affirmation of what we all know about dirty Eye-Tie families of a Turnpike nature.

Atlanta was the worst.
I love the NY one bc it's ridiculous and you actually can follow and bond with the individual characters (alex and simon are my neighbors - the are hardly the type to rub elbows with the upper east sided gentry)

NJ was ridiculous and the Orange County one just leaves me with jaw agape.

It was lame that NJ was only 5 episodes. They don't DO much though.

actually Atlanta was awesome if only for the transvestite who tried to have a singing career with a sugar daddy who said she was only 29. That was great.

LOL. I only watched the reunion special of Atlanta: The whole thing was embarrassing to me.

For some reason, I enjoy OC the most but admit that NYC is probably the best one and is the best group of people.

I only watched bits and pieces of Jersey: no interest.

Keep the rabbit ears, get a decent tv (hd capable), continue to enjoy free programming.

Confirmed. A bunch of jock sniffing gold diggers who can't pay their bills. The only one with any class at all was Eric Snow's wife and, SURPRISE, they aren't bringing her back for next season because she was most likely too boring.

Funny this thread was up because this was on the front page of the AJC this morning (in the "BUZZ" section) Complete with pics:

http://blogs.ajc.com/radio-tv-talk/2009 ... id=thbz_hm

Sheree Whitfield's house sold in foreclosure for 1.3 million less than it was bought for and she apparently left with 200K of furniture and appliances, etc., although she claims it was a business advisor that took the stuff.

That's the last season I watched. I get violently annoyed at that show and I can't watch it now.

I am actually shocked that dudes watch this.

Alex and Simon from NY live DIRECTLY across the street from me and I can tell you that if the way they are in real life is any indication of the show, it is VERY scripted.

but the NY ones are a little too down to earth/actually do something with their lives. Sort of the same for OC too.

the Atlanta drag queen wins it all for me.

Well, consider the dudes who are married or live with girlfriends. That show comes on at 10pm on the East coast. Sadly, I'm usually in bed sometime between 10-11 and FemDerris loves this shit so I usually see it by default from bed. Although, I've taken to waiting until it's over these days because it drives me so batshit crazy.

Also, there is a reason the Atlanta season was one of the highest rated things ever on Bravo at the time. Hot trash women = train wreck TV.

I think on some of those shows the women had at least some educational background (at least the NYC one). I'd be surprised if the ones on the Atlanta season have GED's.

A

I love to watch people humiliate themselves for "fame" and "fortune" - especially nouveau riche trash like everyone associated with this show. It has next to nothing to do with the format, or watchability, and everything to do with the dregs of society.

Every person on this show is beneath the heel of the worst junkie piece of shit that Intervention could EVER find.
