it looks like they're gonna work on Criminal for awhile, which I'm fine with.

Yes. Get back to Criminal and stay there. Incognito looked pretty, but what was the point to it? I had zero attachment to any of the characters... and then it just ended.

Chew, Sweet Tooth & Unwritten are my jam at present.

Chew is the best new book I've read in a really, really long time.

I really liked the first issues of Sweet Tooth and Unwritten because there were $1. I almost picked up the first couple issues of Chew (I wish I would have since they're hard to find now) because it sounds like an interesting book. I'm trying to decide if I want to read these books monthly or just wait for the trades.

They've been reprinting Chew like crazy. I think the first issue is on like the fifth printing now.

I picked up the 3rd or 4th printing of it, but still haven't read it yet. The premise is definitely... weird, but the art is really nice. Looking forward to finally getting around to it.

It sucks how so few good books seem to have good art. The art on Unwritten is kind of a shame, but I guess it doesn't detract too much.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of Derrick Robinson, but that and whoever the fill-in artist(s) has (have) been on The Boys, have really made me appreciate him more.

Read the 1st issue, and it was enough to keep me interested, but that was about it.

I like North 40... it's really bizarre, and has a shitton of characters, so this would definitely read better in trade. I'm still buying the singles, but I'll put them away until I get about 5 or 6 (can't remember if this is limited or ongoing).

carlos ezquerra is doing some of the issues of the boys and i like his stuff alright. it reminds me of hitman, speaking of which, john mccrea is doing herogasm but with keith burns who i've never heard of.

the latest issue of the boys where they go after stormfront is pretty great.

I've heard about that. It looks great.

Templesmith's art is so good, and hella creepy.

Never read Hoxford. Of his stuff, I've only read Fell, 30 Days of Night, and Hatter M, which was actually pretty amazing. How was it?

the Old Man Logan finale ships tomorrow. Along with a bunch of stuff I wanna read. shit.

I thought the ending was pretty good (still kind of anticlimactic considering we got to watch him kill all the marvel heroes), but I don't know if I want to see that continued.

Just heard that Incognito is going to continue, sort of alternating with Criminal, which is awesome. I gotta go back and re-read a lot of Criminal, because I forget a lot of the Tracy Lawless stories.

I wasn't gonna read this spider woman book on account of the motion comic, but holy shit is that art good.

Alex Maleev coloring himself makes it SO much better.

Anyone else here who read No Hero? Pretty brutal, gruesome, and awesome ending. I think Ellis was channeling Garth Ennis a bit on this one.

Also, I like Hickman on Fantastic Four so far.

I think I'm just kinda burnt out on Ellis for awhile. I enjoy the hell out of the guy's work, but I think if he focused on like 3-4 books at a time instead of 45, I'd enjoy him a lot more. As it stands, I feel like there are a lot of half baked ideas, or great premises with mediocre storytelling.

Speaking of Ellis, does anyone know if the new Astonishing X-Men is the start of a new arc? I'm still curious, but got bored within seconds of that ghost box shit.

wow, big day tomorrow. Last issue of Planetary, new Criminal arc, this Secret Warriors one-shot, which I'm really looking forward to, and this new Kirkman/McFarlane series.

The new issue of Astonishing is the beginning of a new arc. Phil Jimenez is the artist on the book for this arc.
