iTunes.

That's not even funny

Obviously I want to pay $10 for a 128 kbps rip with no album art

I don't get all the hype about them. To me, they're not terrible or anything, just something I wouldn't mind never hearing again. Nothing special.

They are the indie band flavor of the month though so scenesters, get your disc now before everyone on your block has a copy.

"Young Folks" + "Amsterdam" + "The Chills" = Obner :D

I spun it again this morning. If Young Folks is the single of the year, then you people are easily excited.

Are you telling me you're not currently whistling that refrain?

I am constantly whistling it. If not out loud, then in my head.

After a first listen, it's good, but no classic.

Fair enough, but lately I've been enjoying the hell out of this, which is good enough for me.

I've had numerous songs off The Damnwells new one stuck in my head 24/7. It's not even annoying have them stuck there.

And ain't that all that really matters?
All you can do is share what you love and let others make up their own minds.

It's just an album, it's not like coming out of the closet or something.

i think it's remarkably ok at best.

maybe it'll hit me later, but i'm the opposite of say the cap'n. I have strong opinions pretty much instantly. I have no strong opinion on this, it doesn't repulse me, and i'm not singing along either.

i hadn't even thought of this band in a long time until catching them at a festival this past summer. they really impressed me, especially since i didn't like them much the first two times i saw them some years ago. but they've improved a lot. i saw them again last night. it wasn't as good as this past summer, but they're one of a deceptively excellent live band. i don't know anyone who'd say, "wow, i can't wait to see peter bjorn & john." but then you go see them and walk out like, "huh, they were really good."
