Could be. Toronto desperately needs a corner infielder though so if Wallace is even close to as good as advertised at the plate, it's the right move for them. If Vernon Wells wasn't locked into his awful contract, I'd maybe rather have Taylor but as things stand, the Jays' needs are clearly in the infield.
