Listening to that new Gil Scott- Heron, and lordy, that pipe done wrecked his voice. And put a hurt on the delivery mechanism as well.

were you expecting "johannesburg" or something? i mean, yeah he's definitely old and been through some shit, but i think it works well with the album...kinda like those last Cash albums.

Of course I wasn't expecting "Johannesburg or something", or anything else, for that matter. I enjoyed the first listen, but I'd njoy it a lot more if his speech wasn't noticeably slurred as if he'd suffered a mild stroke.
