While still my least favorite of the four, I've warmed to that one quite a bit. A half dozen songs I really like and the rest I'll leave on if it's playing on the stereo. Most days, that's enough.

im a big apologist for this band but seeing them on the okkervil river tour minus neko and minus bejar will go down as one of the singular most boring concernt experiences of my life. im mainly grateful that okkervil played first so i could enjoy a set and then be able to leave 30 minutes into the pornos gig

with NC and DB however they just have a different energy

challengers was a bit of a departure: quieter, less consistent, but some of my favourite new pornographer songs are on there.
