i was researching last night how to prevent what happened to me a few years back....when my itunes library became corrupted, and i had to reload the library, which lost all my stars, playcounts, recently added data, etc.

now that i have a really developed library, i don't ever want to lose that data again.

here's what i found:

this program will echo one folder to another. so now, i echo the main itunes folder to an itunes folder on my external drive just in case. it's really simple to set up.

so basically you make a backup....
