i agree. it's ignorable, commands very little attention in this video thing. her whole plight is inconsequential especially because the song eats fire crotch.

No, it isn't so much what she did to the songs, but what songs she used. "Straight To Hell" is one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite bands. Every time "Paper Planes" would get played I'd want to hear Joe Strummer's voice, not hers. But I don't have a problem with sampling, if it's done creatively.

I agree actually. The song sounds what I thought it would sound like. MIA isn't my thing but I can understand the appeal.
