I was thinking of Interpol while listening to the new National and now here they are.

hey, lookee there, no progression whatsoever...fuck this band now.

They just need a new singer, or bury the vocals and they wouldn't embarrass themselves.

On tracks like Lighthouse from the last record, or Untitled from the first, this is a band capable of good things. But when they try for the big things they really fall flat on their faces.

for opinions like that I really love obner. there are soooo many interpol lovers around me from the first day on and I never understood why people go nuts for very boring music.
