5 year anniversary of the day we met is Sunday.

Exchange gifts, go to dinner

Other than that, nada

Nothing too exciting

* Play tennis tomorrow morning and possibly Sunday
* Lots of cleaning, chores and some work
* Maybe hook up turntable
* Listen to lots of music that I've bought the last few weeks but haven't gotten around to listening to
* Maybe a few hours on beach
* Hit up the Farmer's market and do some cooking
* Show my face around the local brazilian bar so I can get the regulars treatment when the world cup games start next month
* Maybe see Toots & the Maytals Sunday night. I like 'em alot but they've been meh the 2 times I've seen them before

If I do 1/3 of that though I'll surprise myself. I also want to make a good dent in the book I'm reading and the business periodicals that are piling up.

Fri: Just got into Chicago. Got my grandfather's wake in about two hours. Gonna grab some Portillo's in a few. Then not sure what I'm doing tonight. Probably just get drunk alone in my hotel room unless something pops up. Oh, I also should be hearing back about the offer I put on that house sometime today.

Sat: The funeral is sometime this day. Probably in the morning, then I'm going to the Empty Bottle to see Jimmy Gnecco in the eve.

Sun: Drive home, get some rest, then back to work.

Tonight: Going to some makeshift BYOB happy hour in Piedmont Park around 5-ish. Probably generously buzzed enough by mid-evening to call it an early night.

Saturday: Sleep in. Maybe go pick up that new Free Energy record. Maybe check out a movie with this Regal Cinema gift card I have. ("Ghost Writer", "The Runaways", "City Island", or "North Face")

Sunday: Weather permitting, chill by the pool. GTL.

Tonight: Alcohol fueled bowling fest.

Saturday: Studio time to finish up and master the b-side for our record.

Sunday: Chiiiiiiiill, and paint Sebastian's table and chairs.

Knowing nothing of "North Face", only knowing "City Island" from the SCATHING New Yorker review, wanting to see "The Runaways" (oh, Dakota Fanning, how you tease me!), & having seen "Ghost Writer", I say see Ghost Writer. It's nothing exceptional, but captures the mood of the early decade exceedingly well.

As for my weekend:

-- Tonite: work, 515 'til 1100. Go home. Sleep.

-- Tomorrow: work, 1130 'til 500. Possibly see Letters to Juliet after. Go home. Maybe drinks (alone) somewhere nearby.

-- Sunday: lounge about, reading, then Brewers-Phils, late game.

Yeah, Femgar was hoping this or the new Taurus would be an option for the new company car, but we get a Focus or whatever the Taurus replacement car is. It's nice, but SMALL.

Change in plans - we have to get my mom's car back to her house, as she believes it's been there the whole time she's been in El Paso. So, we're headed south for the evening.

Friday Night: Work, then Fill-In radio show(s) - hour of all-female soul, followed by all-instrumental music. Got Home, 'round 1a, then super passed-out.

Saturday: Worked, came home, passed on Full-Band Flying Lotus show in order to rest/stew in my own alcohol-based juices...

Sunday: I'll be lucky to get out of bed by 2p.

All I know is I have drank enough and slept little enough that I can't believe I still have to somehow fit in another barbq and find time to have a late drink with a girl before having to somehow recover enough to be at work tomorrow.

Dude, where the hell have you been? You've been as quiet as a church mouse lately.

Also why is it my name doesn't show up as being online? How odd. I have it set to be seen.

Hi! I am here, but yes, I have been too freaking lazy to write any emails or... anything. I'll try to remedy that today.
