Same here. Never been into rap as much as some here but I do like some of it. Something about him just never clicked with me like say, TI, Outkast, or Biggie did.

I do have respect for his business side of things. The guy hustled and diversified like no one before him.

That said, I loved the single "Can I Get A...". That beat was ridiculous.

Here are a bunch of my favorite Jay-Z songs, mostly album cuts with a few freestyles and secret joints thrown in for good measure. Since Jay “retired” and came back, his music hasn’t sounded as urgent or hungry to me. He sounds like he’s coasting along, so I wanted to go back and pull out a bunch of his music that made you bob your head, marvel at his flow, puff out your chest, or even raise the little hairs on the back of your neck. The feelings you got from songs like “Where I’m From,” “D’Evils,” “1-900-Hustler” and “You Don’t Know.” Not included: #1 singles you’ve heard a million times, lazy one-take flows, lyrics about inventing the button-down shirt, songs dissing rappers who would later be signed to Jay-Z’s label, and songs produced by Eminem.

good lord. while searching for that image, i stumbled upon this...

No Money Goes To Haiti 20% Off Sale

Are you sick and tired of everyone begging for your hard-earned money to give to these savages in Haiti? Haiti was a cesspool before the earthquakes and all the money in the world would not change their situation. Organizations are skimming hundreds of thousands of dollars off of the donations being made and whatever money that does reach Haiti will only be wasted. Food drops being made are only contributing to the usual robbing and looting that's going on. So don't give your money to them, make a purchase at Micetrap Distribution LLC and we guarantee that not a single penny of it will ever be given to Haiti or any other 3rd World Country!
