Doesn't the clarity of her voice in these things strike anyone else as weird? I mean I get that the recording was made on her end, but it almost sounds like she's in a sound studio.

yeah, these were most likely edited...it almost sounds like she's overdubbed herself on top of tapes of him reading scripts for the next lethal weapon movie.

Yeah I suppose it's fairly obvious that these were set up deliberately to catch him in the act, but she's almost alarmingly cool and calculated about it.

I mean it's one thing for her to have some sort of basic recording device ready for the next time he calls, and it's another thing to have professional equipment set up.
