They are currently touring with Miniature Tigers and Jukebox the Ghost. My friends were blown away, especially the one who hadn't heard a note of their music before last night. Anyways, they are worth checking out if they come by you.

So far the best summer fun album I've heard yet this year.

Damn, tonight, huh? Oh well, it's not like I ever go to shows anymore.

And yeah, I can imagine they'd be a lot of fun to see.

i have missed them twice here already this year, but i'm looking forward to seeing them in july.

not a particularly innovative band, though they do seem pretty fun.

I missed them this last time in Portland, but would love to see these guys.

For the show last night, they played second after Miniature Tigers and before Jukebox the Ghost. Though I think they have been switching up who headlines, since the lead singer from MT asked who was playing next even though all 3 bands have been touring together for a while. They probably played for about 30 minutes, but they definitely kicked out the jams. Just insanely tight and fun to see. The rhythm guitarist mentioned to my buddies after the show that they had their own sound engineer touring with them, which is a big reason why the mix sounded really good. Also talked to the singer briefly while closing my tab, and both guys were really friendly.

Seeing them in SLC and at Pitchfork. Their album has been on heavy rotation for last 2 months, just ridiculously fun.

tempted to go to the ithica show. but i've already got 3 shows and a fest this month on my calendar....

I was going to skip this show, because I've seen Mates of Sate three times, but now I feel compelled to go.

They were pretty incredible. Gave it their all. I like their album so much more now.

I didn't even stick around for Mates of States.

My friend is a huge MofS fan, so I might have to tag along to check out Free Energy. I dig their album--so if they're great live, thats a plus.

ok. i'm on board now. they were really good on saturday. now i guess i should actually pick up the album.

For the Atlanta folks, I saw that they're coming back to open for Titus Andronicus at the Earl on Monday, Sept. 20th.

I like how no one has mentioned that this band sounds a lot like Weezer.

I was thinking OK Go.

i was thinking the strokes and the raspberries.

I can hear T. Rex and Raspberries in there, but not much Weezer.

Yeah, there's definitely a 70s glam influence in there. Maybe we just missed that part of Weezer.
