I gave the Titus Andronicus one more listen the other day just to make sure I wasn't still missing something...nope. I do think the first song is great (is that J Mascis on guitar or what!?) but there's not enough there in the rest of it for me.

Good list though: I have massive respect for people who can listen to a lot of hip hop and a lot of rock/indie rock.

I think, at the end, it's just the length of the songs on the Titus Andronicus that I can't get by.

I found the big boi album incredibly listenable. It's right for pretty much whatever mood I'm in.

That opening guitar riff in "Woe is Me" could be substituted in any Vampire Weekend song and be right at home.

Walkmen have always been one of those bands who I think are just fine, but have never really given me a reason to fall in love with them. Lots of love for Lisbon on Obner this year, but I don't really see any reason to dive into it.
