OK: I think it'd be cool if, instead of our location being listed under our avatar, we could put in a RIYL: line. So people could list personal stuff, i.e.

RIYL: harmonizing, Les Paul, puppies
or
RIYL: Hillbilly bashing, penguins, Halo 2


I dunno... maybe its a lame idea, but it would give this board a more "musicy" feel to it.

KPH has a point. That sig's pretty all-purpose.

The location only works if people actually disclose their location...but for someone who lists "the basement of my grandmother's house" as a location, it seems rather useless.

Yes, but I think a lot of people have the sig turned off, to avoid large images. this would be pretty unobtrusive text.

I'm not saying get rid of the location thing, but add a second, also optional, RIYL line.
