They have since updated the story to say she past on after being on life support since Christmas.
She initially contracted the H1N1 flu and then died of pneumonia.

Yeah, this is a bummer. I've been listening to Broadcast records this morning in her honor. Forgot how much I really dig Ha Ha Sound and The Noise Made By People.

This is really sad especially since it likely was preventable. Get your damn Flu shot people!

That's awful. H1N1 from Australia?

I wish I had Ha Ha Sound or Work and Non Work with me right now. Damn good band. Good live, too. Very, very sad.

That's unfortunate. I remember being introduced to Broadcast on a mix from Cybin, many years ago.

I always wondered why they didn't achieve a greater success in the US, but I guess that's just how it goes. I always hoped for a Stereolab/Broadcast tour, with an encore of both bands playing together.

Grooveshark. I didn't have them here either, but found pretty much all their albums via GS.

Thanks. There's one track missing from Ha Ha Sound on there, but it's on Youtube. Listening to the whole pieced-together album now.

Shit this sucks. They played a small club here during the Haha Sound tour. Great show.

RIP

I only have the "Tender Buttons" album but after watching some of those clips I want to hear the whole discography now.
