I haven't been to Warped in almost a decade, but I figure it's a good gig. Raking in some tour bucks and merch cash, all for 30 minutes on stage? Good deal.

Plus, I just checked who else is playing: http://www.vanswarpedtour.com/bands - There's so much variety I doubt even the mallpunks will be out in force. When I went in '01 the only non-punk bands were Jurassic 5 and the Long Beach Dub All-Stars. J5 were great, but they themselves were surprised that no one booed them or threw shit at them, as it happened on many previous stops.

This '11 line-up sounds like it'll be a cake walk to lure in wanna-be hipster fans.

I think Lucero is the best band going right now. Well, depending on their next album. But if they knock it out this year...
