Meat Puppets - Lollipop (2011)

Okay, so nothing that the Pups has done since the millennium has really grabbed me -- at all. But, they were my gateway band and I will ALWAYS pay attention whenever the guys put out something new.
As always, I am taking a wait and see with this one. Hopefully, I won't be too disappointed this time.

Plus, that cover art is fucking terrible.

Still, I'm gonna give it a listen.

I've seen a lot of album covers get derided as "My First Photoshop", but this one may have them all beat. Holy drop shadows and swirl effect.

I would typically check out a new Meat Puppets release but I have extremely low standards that the album art didn't meet.
