Leaving the gym this afternoon, I was passing Yield on the way to my car, when what did I hear but Someone still loves you, Boris Yeltsin playing on the iPod shuffle at the bar. So, I went in, got two pints of Franziskaner, and a pizza. The siren call of SSLYBY was that great.

So, I ask: has a song ever led you to drink? go into a bar to which you h ave never been?

If I walk into a place and a spoon song is playing, I'll likely be there for a bit.

Not sure it's happened as I heard it emanating from a place that serves drinks, but sure. All the time. Today, even.

I actually remember stopping into a bar in London ON in the late 90s because they were playing Luscious Jackson's 'Naked Eye' and wanted to see what the hell was going on in there.
