The Worst Christmas Song Ever (final bracket)

I can get behind most of it, but there are a couple songs on there I like.

And I will break out the Christmas vinyl this weekend while the kids and I finish decorating the tree.

I would toss at least half those. I like the hymnals and some of the old school ones but not the cutesy [front teeth] ones. i don't get why Sound of Music's "Favorite Things" gets thrown into Christmas. I hear them play it on the radio every now and then and I get that twisted dog head confused look.

There's a couple of personal favorites on there, but otherwise a solid representation of what I hate about the holiday.

The other night, shortly before our City Council meeting (which takes place a couple dozen feet from my office), a local all-Tuba "orchestra" played several Christmas songs, including a version of "Feliz Navidad" so dire and dirge-y it felt like I was at Jose Feliciano's funeral.

I am looking for anything wintry or christmas like in ambient form . . . ?

I put one up last christmas to little fanfare mixed mostly with Richter solitudes and Fahey traditionals. Turned out nostalgic, wistful, but probably depressing for most. I want more of that.
