Me too. We've been soldiering through with the french press the last couple weeks but that can't last.

Man, I don't even have a French press. I should get one. Barely made it through this past week on some Starbucks Via which isn't bad in a pinch.

Keurig's are OK, but I don't want to start using one at home.

We got a new one at work that does make a decent cup of coffee. Our old one was disgusting.

I've become a fan of the Chemex, especially since clean-up is a snap and its bigger than my 2-mug French Press.

Never heard of the Chemex until now. Looks pretty cool.

Thanks for the heads up, E. Fu.

We need something with a TIMER up in this piece. We are not friendly people in the predawn hours.

FWIW, I got the 40-ouncer with the handle, because I was afraid of losing that wooden piece. Also, I can do one mug or 4-5, and it's all about the same amount of work. A digital scale helps if you have one.

I love your wish Marco - Absolutely adore Bernese Mountain Dogs (but sadly don't have enough room for one in our Condo).

I'm sure you'll like my Xmas wish list as well - All I want for Xmas is a Seahawks win over the 49ers :)

I like it a lot.

If you're going to ask for that you might as well get greedy and ask for a Chargers win over the Lions as well.

Well, I was off by a few months, a breed and about 100 lbs. I guess I shouldn't have involved my daughters in this plot as I was surprised with one of these guys:

Image

My daughters have been lobbying for a small dog for a few years now and they convinced my wife to go this direction. I have never thought of myself as a small-dog owner, but this is one charming motherfucking pug. I just might get used to the little guy. Now I have to get my 100lb, 8 year-old Berner to do the same.

Pretty awesome, Marco. I love big dogs, but my apartment won't really accommodate one comfortably, so I've got little ones (plus, yes, I have a weakness for them). He'll think he's at least 50 lbs bigger than he actually is, but he'll be fun.
