Barn Owl: The Conjurer

I like all the Barn Owl stuff I've listened to, but this one is far and away my favorite. (Second favorite is the Shadowland EP from the past year.) On Conjurer the twang in the guitars, sounding like Duane Eddy dropped in the dessert on a cold night with a head full of acid, sound amazing and better than anything else these guys have come up with for my tastes. The opening guitar lines on this thing are simply fantastic. Getting the vinyl for Christmas goes down as one of the best presents I have ever received.
