A few years back, while I lived in Chicago, in the days leading up to new year's (late 2005 or 2006), the local alt rock station was playing their top 500 songs of each year from 1990-something to culminate with the current year on new year's eve. At one point, when doing a late '90s list, the DJ came on and said: "We're sorry we played Creed... Now, here's Creed."
