i'll never understand the fans of gbv who fixate negativity on that song. It's not their best song but it's a solid perfectly fine song in sea of more terrible songs. It's a little more poppy then the rest of their catalog, but the lyrics are pure Pollard. I've always liked it.

I think that I like the Glen Campbell version better than the original. The lack of bombast brings out qualities that I didn't notice in the GBV version. I think that I'll enjoy the original a little bit more now.

The Westerberg penned title track is a good one and a better choice for Glen, whom by the way, I'll be seeing next week. While I was excited to hear he was covering Bob, I was less than thrilled with the results. I don't think HoH is a terrible song. Perhaps a bit cheesy, but that's all. Same goes for Window of My World, except it has that exceptional (Who-like) break in the middle of the track.
