The jury in the Scott Peterson double murder trial has reached a verdict, to be announced about 4 p.m. ET. (per CNN)

Not to be a dick! But I am with you I could not care less. Why is it the murder of affluent white people always seem to become national story. Anybody remember Jon Benet Ramsey????

My question is: Is it just that the few hundred people standing outside the courthouse that cheered at his verdict had nothing better to do than wait at the courthouse for a verdict on a guy that most of them don't even know? What a waste of time.

Thank God Redwood City is like a bit more than an hour from where I live.

Probably, she'll be gushing over Star Jones' wedding from Saturday, so that will take care of Monday, Tuesday, and possibly Thursday, the better part of this coming week's Today.
