so, i'm not sure it was a doe, but i found out what it's like to slam into a deer going 80mph fri nite. my poor car. :( actually the deer itself didn't do much damage, but that guard rail sure did.

anyways, there's a good chance my 11 year-old sentra, the only car i've ever owned, might be "totaled" thanks to a bent wheel (aka, bent axle). but no one knows yet. the only thing i have going for me, which isn't much, is there's only 66k miles on 'er. but i have a bad feeling.

if anyone has some proven good luck vibes, i wouldn't mind a couple spares.

oh, and somehow i survived without a scratch, which is what's supposed to be most important. guys that witness my accident were surprised i didn't roll my car.

If you've got part of a deer hoof stuck in the front of your car you can always ask Tommy DeVito's Mom for a butcher's knife.

Glad you're okay. Sorry about your car and the deer.

Wait a minute, an 11 year old car that only has 66,000 miles on it? Holy cow! I can easily do that in 3 years if not less.

Palster, so glad you weren't hurt...too bad about Bambi, though. :(

This bring to mind and old poem from Andrew Dice Clay.

Doe, a deer., a female deer.
Ray the guy who fucked her ass.

Glad you're Ok. I had a similar experience last summer with a Ford "deer" that was stopped in the fast lane of I95 around a bend, of which I was rounding at about 75mph.

that had to be worse -- going around a bend. luckily, i was on a straightaway with guard railing. in other spots i coulda ditched it easy.
