but:

1. why was tobas alway putting his head in the chimney

2. what was the white stuff coming out of gob's shirt everytime they hit him (was that supposed to be bird crap?)

Actually I was wondering the same thing. I came in late to S2, so I was wondering if it was missed references on my part.

i still haven't figured out the chimney thing, but in one scene they showed G.O.B. doing the trick where the magician pours a pitcher of milk into a paper cone and it disappears, i figured that the white liquid was related to that.

not sure and not sure

what I am sure of though is that I nearly peed myself watching the show last night...definitely one of the season's best...hopefully next week's finale is not the last one we'll see.

I think the chimney came into the story with the intervention that went wrong the previous year. Tobias ended up in the chimney? Not positive.

I thought it was a good episode but not great. One of my least favorite from the year. That just goes to show how great this show is.

the chimney think actually makes sense.....

and i was thinking that the white stuff in the pocket was a bird poop joke?

i thought last night was pretty funny, but the show has a was of creating as many loose ends as it ties up.....

Why was the hand put over the camera when Kitty exposed her breasts? Did I miss something?

Solid episode, but I don't think it can come close to the previous Sunday's.

ive come to the conclusion that although i love the show and think its hilarious, theres simply no way im going to understand what the hell is going on 10-20% of the time. if it wasnt so funny, id probably say, "what the hell?" and never watch it again.

No, it was kitty.

Kitty got a boob job in season 1 and supposedly has disfigured breasts now. In season 1, they had her nipples pointing in completely opposite directions. Didn't have that last night though.

Me too...but that's why they invented the DVD box set.

1) Also, I believe that the chimney joke originated last night. It was the first time I had noticed it, but then again I could have missed it in another episodes.

2) I don't know what the white stuff coming out of Gob's shirt was. I didn't think it was supposed to be anything in particular, but that could just be me.

shit it was kitty that flashed her breasts....

and the botched boob job would make sense with the hand over the lens (as if the lens were the pov of the actual 'girls with low self esteem' camera......)

The show's supposed to be a documentary, basically. It was the cameraman or his aid putting the hand over the lens to give it a more realistically "censored in the moment" feel.

Absolutely no idea. I thought it was funny that he kept doing it, but I think something from one of the cut storylines (due to Fox's order-shortening cut) may have had a vital clue as to what that meant, and they just left it in because it was weird and funny anyway.

I took it as part of the magic act that he's always trying to pull on people, where something comes out of his shirt, like the lighter fluid in previous episodes (which never ignited anything, prompting him to say "But where did it come from?!") They had previously shown him a few minutes before in an except from that performance video from Girls With Low Self Esteem where his disappearing-milk act had failed on stage, so I had assumed it was just an indication that he was still trying to work that one out.

Overall, not a great episode, and I think this is one of the post-"Fox order cut" shows. The show's creators may have been a little flustered with the problems and it came out in a less-than-entirely-cohesive episode.

Agree completely.

I didn't think of that, but I bet that's it.

Anyone else a little disappointed with this episode in general? It seemed really rushed and disjointed. I guess next week is the finale - will it be be the series finale or, hopefully, only the season finale?

I was. It was great compared to other shows (especially the intervention where they all got drunk) but a letdown from some of the great episodes they've had. Very disjointed.

It's similar to an episode in the first season when the cameraman is stopped from entering the courtroom because no cameras are allowed.

My favorite background inside joke was, while Michael and Gob are talking, Oscar's in the background fleeing from the rehab center. He eventually gets caught by the same cops as always and, to a t, the one cop pulls out his billy stick and clubs him in the back.
