I fully expect Richmond to be shut the fuck DOWN. the weather channel predicts something between 2 inches of snow and 18 inches of frogs.

Even we're getting something tomorrow, I've heard a foot with some rain in the middle of it. -shrug- Don't expect much will shut down here. Might even be a fun commute day.

we just got pummeled with thunderstorms since 3pm like a summer afternoon, more to come tonight then cooling off tomorrow afternoon/evening

btw since autumn, based on variable weather models and forecasting data . . . wunderground truly sucks

Schools and workplaces are already closed tomorrow here.

Dicey drive home tonight @ 9:30p. 1/4" down, but slick. Just went out to let the dog out and its now freezing rain. Calling for 1-2"/hr overnight of the white stuff.

Right now its anyone's estimate. Could be 6" or it could be 24" in some models. It looks like it shifted west, so that means the I-81 corridor is probably gonna get rocked.

It started on time this morning in Boston, about 7. Light stuff so far, but "something" will be coming down for about 24 hours. Here on the coast it should be rain in the middle of the day, making everything a motherfucker of a slushy mess. Inland, it's all snow.

We were without power for a total of 8 hours yesterday and last night. Otherwise, no real pains this time around: Its pretty much all melted.

We got 16". This morning and evening was like Mad Max in the neighborhood trying to leave and then find a parking space (I park on the street).
