I really should've impressed upon you the virtues of St Louis's City Museum before you left.

i don't do the facebook thing, so i've got no idea what the hell is going on with you fools without this place.

i've been checking in but pretty MIA posting-wise due to some shitty personal crap. i had tried a couple times to post in Bob's "My Mom" thread, but could never actually hit 'submit' for whatever reason. i'm bad at e-sharing my feelings i guess. in a nutshell, we moved my mom up here a little over a year ago. she has Alzheimer's and has declined pretty quickly since Thanksgiving. it's absolutely gut wrenching to see her go through this, but in the same breath i am so thankful and blessed for the year that my kids had a chance to really get close to her and see her so often.

i guess my bottom line is, i just can't quit you obner.... i'm around even if i'm not posting.

e, I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's last year. Terrible, terrible disease. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her.
