Apparently designed as a companion album to Sea of Change, I like the new track. The album comes out in in two weeks...

I am looking forward to this album. I'd kinda ignored Beck since Sea Change, but I recently went back and listened to Guero and Modern Guilt - those are pretty tight releases.

While I haven't found any of his work to be bad, I've kind of lost interest over the years.

I'll probably check it out and then forget it exists a few months later.

Yeah it leaked a few weeks ago, definitely got a Sea Change vibe. Good but kind of forgettable.

I think it's a fantastic album. Beck's albums use to be hardly forgettable although I thought that couple of times for other albums. btw, Jason Falkner is playing the electric guitar somewhere in the background of that album..

Kind of a dreamy sound but I'm still kinda meh on this. I'm not into this new wave of indie/acoustic-based/folk/americana and Sea Change ranks pretty low with me so this isn't a surprise or a disappointment. Bonus background Beck noise.

I had a friend that I trust tell me the Beck album is great. Defriend them? Or could they be right?
