Every year I do something like this, not sure if I've shared with Obner recently.

In past years I have done the AIDS Walk, I've done the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics, volunteered for a hospitality house and a bunch of other stuff, but this time around my connection to the effort is a lot more direct since my wife, my father-in-law, and a large handful of friends and co-workers are diabetic.

I'm doing JDRF Walk To Cure Diabetes this time around, So, I'd you'd like to contribute, it would be much appreciated.

Our cat has diabetes. Its weird shooting up a cat.

My friend had a cat with it, but then it didn't have it any more. So my friend had no use for the syringes and other supplies. His co-worker did though, so they met in the parking lot one day and exchanged syringes and maybe some medication. He wondered if a cop passed by and saw this "deal going down" if the cop would believe the story about his cat with diabetes.

We kicked butt. Weather was beautiful. Raised a bunch of money thanks to my sponsors, and I figure the other 800+ people there did too, so overall the walk was a success! Thanks bunches.
