(except that Roky record is actually disc 2 -- live on the Modern Humans Show, 1979)

It's pretty much all I listened to throughout most of August and September. And I can't even explain why. There is no reason I should be giving this album this much rotation. I don't smoke weed. I was never a huge Ween fan (I don't dislike them, but I've only ever owned one album), and the style of the music on the album isn't really like anything else I really listen to (Outside of the obvious Ween comparison, I hear shades of The Beatles, Elliot Smith, XTC and Pink Floyd). Yet, After a couple of listens, I was hooked. There is not a song on it that I don't like (the last track is pretty meh, but it's not even really a song). And there are some devious hooks that I would wake up with ringing in my head in the middle of the night.

Just a great, unassuming rock album by a guy who seems to genuinely love rock n roll and guitars. Bit of a triumphant vibe to it, too, considering what he's gone through between Ween calling it quits and recording this album.
