I kept waiting for the confession to somehow win the Hershey execs over but it appears that is all just part of Don hitting rock bottom. It'll be interesting to see if/how Matt Weiner resets things next season and gets everyone back together or if Don really does go off in another direction, possibly all alone.

Finally watched the final episode. I loved the final scene, with Draper showing his kids the house he grew up in, on a detour from a trip to Hershey Penn. The way he was pushed out of the agency made me think that maybe he won't be back next season? Does anyone know if Hamm's contract is up or something?

Welp. Guess that's it.

A friend just posted on FB that she's desperately trying to avoid Mad Men Finale spoilers......In reply, I simply posted:

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm...... :)

I'm pretty proud of myself for that one :)

I know many didn't, but I actually really liked that finale.

I thought the Peggy and lion man (still can't remember his name after all these years) was a little forced. And the coke thing was a bit of a gimmick, but overall I didn't object to this finale. Don't love it, don't hate it.

Joan snorting coke was very shocking, and really pretty ridiculous.

Ha I actually meant Coke as in the very ending, but yeah that was a pretty superfluous scene.

Steggy 4-eva, although that scene was waaaay too rom-com tonally. Still, I was really happy those two got together.

The cut to the Coke commercial has grown on me, but my initial reaction to the ending was not favorable. Not a great finale for me, but still one of my favorite shows ever.

I liked the finale.

Here's what Matt Weiner had to say about it: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/m ... k_20150520
