Too bad this was applying to musicians only, because the first Anglofro to pop into my head was that guy that had the painting show on TV way back when... Ross something-or-other... always painted happy little trees and puffy clouds, stuff like that.

Let's not and say we did...

besides, those are hardcore Lati-fros, anyways... They'll disavow any anglo (or logical song structure under 6 min. long) that comes before them...

Furthermore, Omar Rodriguez Lopez is Puerto Rican, so he might have some Afro coarsing thru him.

But, Cedric Zavala is, in reality, only Latin on his mama's side. His daddy is a Bixler -- you cannot get much more Anglo-Saxon than that.... Come to think of it, to take it way back, 'Dric's ma is Basque.

So, one-half the Mars Volta's nexis is Anglo'fro worthy.

Next....

How'd we get this far without mentiong Sib Hashian, the drummer from Boston? It's hard to make out where his fro ends and the room begins. He's in the lightning bolt muscle shirt...

First two that popped in my head, in order: Lee Oskar (above) and the drummer from Boston, which Phil has been so nice to share with the class.

Riggo's mohawk was fucking badass, too.

He's the best part of the Sonny Jurgensen, George Michael and Michael Wilbon Redskins Report show. He seems so put off so often and just dismisses the bullshit, which Michael and Wilbon are eager to float out there.
