The dude's 78 years old. Wouldn't you expect that from someone that old? All this nomination does is buy the church a few more years. When they're really ready to make a statement (hopefully a much more liberal one), they'll elect another 50 year old like John Paul II was.

AC/DC have been around almost 33 years. A 78 year old would have been 45 when the band started. And that's 20 years after the "start" of rock & roll.

It's not like rock started last Februrary or something. Old people should have been able to have gotten a bit used to it by now.

Considering, you know, like, Roger Daltrey is 62 and all.
