i stand by my what i have said, that the Eagles would have won the Superbowl with a healthy Jon Ritchie.

I don't so much want football season to start so I can watch football as much as I want the media to be forced to talk about something other than TO & Ricky.

But TO is an assclown & he brings this on himself. The only thing other than watch TO get nailed in a game that I'd rather see is Drew Rosenhaus walk down the streets of Philly. yeah, that's kind of my point. their receiving core was god-awful and he made them not only respectable but potent just by showing up. i just haven't seen anything that makes me think that they've improved so dramatically that he's expendable now.

i don't think anyone thinks he's expendable. the team is obviously worse without (a happy) him.

but i think their defense will be better this year, and the NFC is still pretty crappy.

if it's the eagles you're talking about they have Westbrook, who, considering he's on a 1 year term, should have a HUGE year. also, he catches a lot of balls out of the back field too.

i don't know if he'll be all that big in a contract year or not if every team can just clog the line and dare mcnabb to advance the ball by throwing to greg lewis.

McNabb led them to the NFC championship three years in a row without TO back when the NFC had a few good teams.
