I am going to a wedding in Telluride (I think it is an 7-8 hour drive). The trick is that I have to travel with 2 other passengers and that is going to affect my music choices.

So I am looking for album/band suggestions to get me through this...
Passenger #1: Likes indie/alt rock/pop (radiohead, DCFC, strokes, white stripes...)
Passenger #2: Likes bluesy rock(CCR), and has some jam band tendencies (panic, but no dead or phish)

so I am looking for something that will please all parties

I think I will be taking the Black Keys, but after that it's wide open....that's where you come in

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Definitely the above, when I was heading out west from Ontario and travelling through the prairies, MMJ was the perfect soundtrack. I bet I played those two Kings of Leon about 100 times. Played some Neil Young, Harvest Moon, After the Gold Rush, Ragged Glory. Lots of Stones played too, mainly Let it Bleed, Exile. Shooter Jennings' album was fucking awesome to hear on the road. Built to Spill is great for the car as well.

I am already looking forward to this trip now. I see a lot of bands that I would not have thought of but seem pretty obvious as road trippin' music.

gracias boys and girls ('cept Aural)
