I'm so proud of my plans that I thought I'd start a Labour Day thread on the Thursday weekend. Following a great weekend last throwing Ninja Tune's Endless Summer extravaganza with Spank Rock and more, this weekend we do bring an end to the summer with this fucking festival:

09/03/05 - Earthunder: Panopticon Eyelid, Akisakila, Dreamcatcher, Larry Marshall, Kites, Goa, Wizzards, Nautical Almanac, Mindflayer, USAISAMONSTER @ Mill of Kintail, Almonte ON
09/04/05 - Earthunder: Slow Jams, Dead Bush, Bug Sized Mind, Animental Bobbiclothes, Lance Romance, Crude Hill, Max Eisenberg, Yomul Yuk, Mouthus, Lightning Bolt @ Mill off Kintail, Almonte ON

It's in the woods at a mill and conservation site near my boy's cottage, where we will be relaxing in between the noise.

friday - go out with some law school people
saturday - clean up around the house/yard - maybe do a bit of hanging out downtown
sunday - i think my mother is coming for a visit
monday - maybe do something outside - hiking or go to beach

Sunday Night - Oakland A's vs. New York Yankees
Sunday Late Night - Red eye back to New York arriving at 7am.
Monday - Sleep.

friday: i'm at home, so i'll go out to dinner with the family and then see some friends from high school.
saturday: taking my car for maintenance and then lunch with an old crush. maybe some record shopping.
sunday: a wedding. and i'm dj'ing some of it. i'm a little nervous.
monday: driving home.

haha, the playlist is undetermined. i brought along a full crate of records and a handful of cds. it should be interesting. i'm trying to sort out dance music that's appropriate.

it's the wedding of a friend who i used to dj with in college, so i'm just doing an hour (maybe a bit more) since he asked me. my main purpose is obviously to be there for all the reasons why i'd go to a friend's wedding anyway, so i'll have a good time... probably until i start spinning.

Tomorrow: Going to the Bowling Green/UW game (got tickets from my boss!) And then heading to a bar to watch the FUCKING DAWGS BABY! I cannot fucking WAIT! Then probably catch that Auburn/Ga Tech game @ the house.

Sun: Probably heading out to the lake hang out and spend the night.

Mon: Hang @ the lake some more.

Fri - Go teach my dad how to burn DVDs. I should know better than get him a DVD burner.
Sat - Take the dogs & cats to the vet, take dogs to dog park, go see a movie maybe. I really want to catch Sons & Daughters in the Middle East but we shall see. I've been working long hours and have not spent much time with the lil lady.
Sun & Mon -Build a shed to store the 4 cords of wood I chopped this summer. I guess it will be worth all that work if my oil bill use is lower.
