oh yeah i'm excited. although i don't think that the game tonight will be much of one. and i'm certain to be in a great deal of physical pain, or in jail, come sunday.

Though I wasn't bold enough to go out on a limb with this one in the Obner Survival Football League, I am predicting a Raiders upset tonight. Raiders + Randy Moss > Patriots - (Teddy Bruschi + Charlie Weis)...not for the entire season, but perhaps this first "ambush" game.

I actually put down lunch money on the Under on this one.....I wouldnt bet against The Pats if they were playing an all star team comprised of the '72 Dolphins, the '89 49'ers, and the "rape" '78-'79 Oilers........

Carl Mauck and Mike Barber used to frequent my great uncle's bar down in Galveston back in those days. I think Pastorini may have even joined them a time or two. That Mauck was one full-throttle SOB! Thats funny, I just watched that '79 AFC Champ. game (again) on ESPN Classic about 2 weeks ago and you are totally right but I think the Screw Job was already in before they even kicked that one off.
