The fucking breaks in the Abbey Road medley were angering me in the truck this morning so bad......my solution was to just play it louder and louder until by the time it got to the drum break in "Love You", it was rattling the back window. When that shit hit though (the part the Beastie Boys sampled), it sounded sooooo fucking good. Somebody who actually DJ's needs to mix the two, where you get the scratching and extra percussion of the B-Boys to mix with the Harrison guitar solo. Unstoppable

Nearly ruined my morning though, those breaks.

Try re-ripping the disc and join those tracks, since you probably want to hear the suite as a whole anyway, right?

In case you don't know how to do that, you select the tracks in the ripping window of Itunes that you want to have be one track, go to the Advanced menu, and select "Join CD tracks." It's pretty cool, I did this with Meshuggah's Catch 33 because it's all one 47 minute long song broke n up seemingly pretty randomly 13 times. I wish you could do it once the files were already on your hard drive, but I guess the built-in gap screws things up or something.

That's what I did and it solved everything.

Now if I could just get my Windows Media Player at work to stop inserting that millisecond break when I'm playing actual CDs. It doesn't do that on my WMP here at home.
