His latest album "Early as the Trees" is fine stuff indeed, and I think some of you will enjoy it.

Here's a track from it and some more info on him...

Twenty-three-year-old Aidan Smith is a wilful eccentric who can’t help his pop connoisseur’s slip showing. Early As The Trees is a characteristically idiosyncratic blend of indie-folk whimsy and bedroom soul. Thus, typewriters and photocopy machines jostle with lilting acoustic guitars on Dental Records, while the exquisite closer, Eclipse, finds Smith emoting wanly over timeless electric piano chords. The title track is a classic list song given a self-deprecating twist – These Foolish Things as reimagined by Daniel Johnston. Like everything here, it’s as incorrigible as it is beguiling.
